I am waiting to get my VCDS. Going to see if I need it for the HIDs. But there are the other reasons to get it too.

I bought myself VCDS last Christmas its the best Christmas present I've had for many years.

@ Keith... Yes and since I am a hard core Apple user a useless PC laptop... well not really useless its gonna give me VCDS lol

You could always use Bootcamp to run XP/7 on your mac to run VCDS just fine:

I run my VCDS on my Mac using parallels. Run Mac and Win 7 at the same time. Works great.

Yeah I was gonna do that, but decided to get an inexpensive lap-top and luckily with black friday I got a sweet deal.
