RNS510 Firmware Update Notice

Anyone else get this attached notice about the software /firmware update on the RNS-510? I am curious if anyone knows a source online where we can grab it and install it ourselves. I am guess the patch to allow DVD while driving would need to be applied again after.

That is so old over 2 months old. You WON"T have to reflash it for the DVD-in-motion as that is not something that gets updated, I know because I had this flash done at the dealership and I actually have a copy of the flash. I flashed my unit for DVD-In-Motion prior to the dealer visit and I can still watch DVD's while driving.

The only thing you will have problems with is trying to get Sirius to turn on the travel link. If you even want to supcribe to that service.

I didn't receive this notice, but have downloaded it and will ask about the update during our first service. I'm hoping the responsiveness of the touch screen has improved in with the "Optimized Touch Screen Performance" section of the update. We're slowly getting used to the touch-n-wait method for every entry on the screen. The radio-nav-media-phone stuff all works, but the interface is very slow.
