Hello all! New member and new owner of a 2012 Passat 3.6 SE. I have the North American model with the RNS 315 with American maps factory installed. I live in Germany and want to load the Europe maps while I am here. I see you can buy the SD card from Volkswagen, but no one can tell me if it will work in my system. The local dealers don't seem to think so, but they haven't been very willing to research it for me. I figure that the info is on the card and it should load unless there is a dramatic difference in the ones installed in the European models. Both models are branded RNS 315, so why wouldn't it work? Can anyone give me a definitive answer on this issue?
