Installing the V6 SEL steering wheels with paddle shifters in a TDI SEL Premium
The part number is 5c0-419-091-L-usz Do you think it will be just plug & play, same harness, no mod? You advise is really appreciate it. Regards.

My best GUESS - yes it'll work since this was the case in older cars and you have a SEL. I don't think anyone else has done this yet, if you do, please document it!

I ordered the steering wheel w/paddle shifters today.
I should get it sometime this week. I hope this works plug and play flawless... I think Im gambling on this but who knows, perhaps I'm right and it works fine...HOPE SO I don't know yet how I'm going to install this but I will do my best to document the whole process. Any advise will be really appreciate it...

Well, I got the new steering wheels w/paddle shifter. now next step is to install it.
I don't know how to do it yet. I will call my bag provider that has a Euro shop and does a lot of work in VW & Audi to see how much cheese he will ask for $$ to have it installed.. I will keep you posted..Also I will try to document it as well. Keep your finger cross..I hope this will be plug & play and no paint.. I think I'm gambling on this... Can somebody check in the bag-com in there is a module that has to be check or something like paddler shifter enable or something ilk this?

Not sure on the passat but on my mk6, you went in 16 steering wheel under VCDS and picked the same option you had but "with paddles". Which would be 0xxx1xx on the golf.

Humm.... Looks good... Not sure if this is an option I would consider... In NYC we cant have fun using paddle shifters
