I know but I'm good for it. And that's the price of having a trusted shop do the work.

$500 for 2 hours worth of work? Sorry, but you got screwed!
I did it on jack stands in my garage with basic tools in less than 3 hours by myself, and I'm not an auto mechanic.

Well I think my car looks great and I love the way it handles too. I think it was worth every penny. Its just a few hundred dollars.

Originally I started this thread to show some more pics of a Passat with H&R springs on it. And give some reviews on how the car rides with them installed. Just things to help others decide if they would want to do this mod. And it goes in a direction on a topic I hadn't paid much attention to and that is how much is too much to pay for the install. I may not be able to help someone do the install but I have apparently set the bar on what not to pay for the install. That's what's great about these websites you can help people in ways you never intended to.

Thumbs up

Brad,

I'm sorry. I think I'm the one that steered this off topic. $620 seems high to me, but having a trusted shop do quality work goes a long way.
