Default What type Ross-Tech VCDS cable do I need?

As stated in the title, not sure what type cable is needed to interface with a 2012 Golf TDI. I'm assuming it's this one:
http://store.ross-tech.com/shop/VCHUC.html

I also assume that this will plug directly into the vehicle, and no other adapter is necessary?

You could save $100 and only get the Micro-Can http://store.ross-tech.com/shop/VCuCAN.html but you won't be able to help anyone who has an older VW/Audi...

All the best,

Yuri

If you can afford the extra then VCDS - USB-Hex-CAN

Thanks for the responses. I'll probably swing for the USB-HEX-CAN version. Any differences in software functionality between the Micro-CAN and the USB-HEX-CAN units?

Micro-CAN should support every module accessible on the newer (Mk-V) cars... it will NOT work on the older cars...
