I would like to disable my bluetooth audio permanently in my 2012 JSW and I found this. "You can disable BT audio via VCDS. Go to the 77-Telephone module and to Byte 4. Check the box and BT Audio is disabled." Would someone have any better information/screen shots on this as I am a VCDS neophyte and I don't want to mess anything up? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thats one are area I haven't bothered with so this is the only picture 77 - Telephone button on Electronics 1 tab.

Thank you for the info. Also, thank you for the move. I should have noticed the specific section for VCDS.
I was able to get this working perfectly. Now I no longer have the problem with the BT Audio taking over if I leave the phone plugged into the MDI when I shut off the car. I also no longer need to wait for the BT to pair before I plug the MDI in in the morning. Below are the the screen caps from my session. ![]() ![]() ![]() Click on the 4th byte
