I have VCDS 11.11.4 with older HEX-USB Intelligent Dual-K cable. No CAN.

You will need to check the compatibility with your vehicle. For example, on my 2010 JSW it only communicates with engine and DSG transmission module via KWP2000 protocol. I only tried measuring blocks and actuate fuel pumps so far. I am not assuming any VCDS skills, so if you want to do something get and idea how to do that. I'm in CA-AZ-NV tristate area.
