ive just got a golf mk4 gt tdi 110bhp asv engine code it runs fine untill u get to about 3200 rpm in 4th or 5th gear then over boost code any help would be good turbo actuator works fine and vnt is free thanks karl |

There's a number of issues which can cause limp mode, see the FAQ for a troubleshooting list.

Did you move the vnt lever by hand? It should move a good inch easily. If it's not moving that far then it could still be sticky. If that's the case google vnt turbo cleaning mr muscle for plenty of info.
I take you've scanned the ecu and got the overboost code?
