Hi, Name is Tim and I'm the lucky one that gets to work on my wifes 03 TDI Beetle. I drive trucks for a living so I like the TDI part. The Beetle part was the wifes idea "its sooo cute kind of thing". I just wish everything wasn't so cramed in to get that look. I did the timing belt once and now get to work on the head because the tensioner bolt broke. The great info in the Forum is a big help, love the pixs. Thanks for everything.

Welcome to the forum Tim.

So you changed the timing belt previously but not the tensioner?

What mileage as it done?
