Just looking for a way to add a second key to my new to me 2004 jetta. Thanks for all the support this forum offers.

Welcome to the forum.

Not without the SKC with an app something like VAG TACHO or VAG Commander 1.4.

You can search FAQ for more solutions if you want too?
