i have a 2006 golf TDI manual with 83K Interested in researching modifications that increase performance (mildly), logevity, and fuel economy. and anything that helps ease maintance thanks alot If you have any ideas I'd love to hear them |

Check out the mk5 early buying guide for some maintenance tips. Also check out the basic performance upgrades article for some chip tuning ideas.
Increasing fuel economy? No modification that will consistently work other than slowing down and lightening the car. A chip may help slightly but only if you never use the extra power. longevity = preventative maintenance. The camshaft on your car may be worn.
