Hey folks. I have been super impressed with the articles here - specifically on the ALH engine.

I drive a 2004 mk1 blueline Octavia which shares the 1.9 tdi ALH VAG engine. Currently she's getting work done - a new car to me, 154k, so needing love. Clutch, gearbox, shocks, timing belt, water pump etc...

I build guitars, gig trumpet, teach brass and guitars and am self-employed; I am not too worried about a flashy fast car - just a reliable high MPG fella.
