Default Dealer searching for "my car"

Quick background... my dad taught me to drive back in the fall of '83 on a 1980 Rabbit Diesel L, silver with red interior (ALL red) 4 speed. I ended up driving that car for a couple of years in high school and I loved it. Why has it taken me almost 30 years to drive another VW?? IDK!

The 2011 JSW TDI 6-sp manual is the perfect car, so much fun and so much car for the money. Though I'm not sure I want to pay $2500 or so for nav & wheel upgrade since I'll be putting on the 18" black Khartoum wheels (and suspension limiters). Dealer here in Birmingham, AL is looking for this car in Candy white with black interior, no nav. I want the panoramic sunroof, body kit and rear lower airbags. The body kit & wheels should give me the look I'm looking for right off the bat. New springs & a chip should help with performance...looking to just get the 170hp of the Euro spec 2.0T.

Looking forward to learning a lot & hearing from many of you!

Why is the dealer loooking to buy your car? Or are you saying that he is looking to find the car that you want?

LOL, I thought this was going to be one of those letters where the dealer is looking for YOUR car and will give you top trade in, so don't delay coming down to look at the new cars! FYI, if you really want the NAV you can get the RNS 510, sell the stock radio, and the final price for the nav will be much less.

I should have worded it better, my local dealer is searching to find the exact car I want. I may have to order it but he said that the 2011 production run ends soon. If I wait too long to order he said I would end up with 2012 production. That seems fine to me unless there is some radical change to the 2012 TDI JSW, I don't know what the negative would be...except that he doesn't get to sell me one right this minute.

As far as I know, the only change on the 2012 models may be a slight change in pricing and the addition of HD radio to the standard RCD 510 radio headunit.
