Hi All, I had a 2001 Golf TDI until 2005, sold it and was gone for several years to grad school, etc. I am back in SoCal and picked up a 2002 Golf TDI with only 74k miles! Love it. I'm interested in biodiesel (part of the LA Biodiesel Coop).

I just unfortunately smashed my rfid transponder chip while upgrading my key fob casing and hope to find info on getting new keys cut, programming immo3, etc. Hoping not to have to go to a stealership. For that, I need to get my SKC, etc.

Welcome! You will need some tools, since there are probably other local TDIers, you could probably sell it to one of them when you're done. Immo3 does not have an emergency bypass mode. Also check out the mk4 key faq.
