No sunroof on my Sport, but I can definitely feel the greenhouse effect from the 8 other windows. Having said that, I also have a John Deere tractor with cab. The UV glass in that cab does a great job of keeping the heat out. So I'll speculate that the glass roof on the Lux/Exec has to be that good or better. But I don't think it will help out with the rest of the greenhouse effect.

I live in Atlanta, GA and found the sunroof on my Q7 was too much, even with the shade closed. I had it tinted, and it's completely satisfactory now.
If you have it done, be sure to get a % Tint that will not allow too much heat to build up in the glass itself, or you could have a major thermal breakage. Last edited by DUTCH VanAtlanta; 11-01-2011 at 08:51 AM. |
