Default How to reset service counter in 2011 vw jetta TDI ?

On the instrument cluster, you will see two buttons, one on each side. With the key off, reach in and press/hold the button on the right, keep holding while you turn the key to "on", release that button and press the one on the left. Done and done!

Thank you, I'll add this to the FAQ. Can someone else confirm this before I make it permanent?

I reset my service counter via VCDS.

My car has Kessy, so I am not sure if this will work or not.

pawelo007, does you car have KESSY?

Yeah you can reset the counter in the MFD on the GOLF, but you cannot on the '11 Jetta Sedan due to the lowline MFD.

mofocus, thanks for the reply, on my next oil change, I will try to reset the counter this way instead of with the VCDS.
