Golf TDI Part Compatibility
I thought i would make my first thread here. I just had a quick question about part compatibility between the VW GTI and the VW Golf. Would i be able to install a GTI front grill on my Golf TDI? Is it a simple matter of buying the parts and installing them? Or does it require more intensive modification? I also wanted to install HID headlights on my Golf. Is that a simple matter of changing the bulbs? Lastly, is there a specific website that you all would recommend for parts? Something that is relatively painless in ordering and reliable? Welcome to the forum.
 Toeball is the one to ask as he fitted a GTD grille to his Jetta I'm sure it can easily be done?  Where you would get a new GTI grille from apart from a dealer beats me Toeball will tell you? Installing Xenon lights is a bigger job but Toeball has done that as well.

No disrespect intended, why would you want a GTI badge on a TDI? I chose the TDI and I'm proud of it! I wish they had a TDI badge fro the front. Just my 2 cents!

I wondered that cjtorres thats why he's better fitting the GTD grille like Toeball unless his car is red and he wants the red strips as well?
