Default "box" under front pass seat?

I just picked up my new jetta yesterday. 2012 TDI w/ prem.
Looking through it this morning I found something that doesn't look right... Under the front passengers seat is a "box" mounted to the floor that is covered black/gray foam... It looks like it should have a plastic cover... Did VW or the dealer forget it?
Thanks!

I wondered what that was too, now I know.

Seems kind of big just for bluetooth. I hope the under-seat storage trays I'm getting won't interfere.

What under-seat storage trays are you getting? Could you please post a link here?

Here ya go:

I wouldn't say ECS Tuning has the best prices, but I don't know many places that sell them online.

I'm crossing my fingers I got the current part numbers, some folks have had issues with fitment on the passenger side for cars that have the bluetooth/dynaudio module we're talking about in this thread.

There is no interference between the bluetooth module and an underseat storage drawer - I have the 2010 JSW and my drawer install went just fine.

Also, my Audi A3, which has the same BT module placement as the JSW, came from the factory with the drawer installed. No interference that I've ever noticed.
