Default Block Heater Plug

I have a 2011 Jetta TDI, yesterday as I plugged the power cord into the front bumper plug it simply went straight into the bumper cavity. The actual bumper mounted plug dislodged and went into the space behind the bumper facia. I wondered when this would happen as the mounting (on my car anyway) seemed very flimsy when you went to plug the cord into it. Oh well, I'm sure my local dealer has a fix...I hope. Anyone else experience this with the new Jetta TDI's block heater?

Welcome to the forum.

Well there are a few threads on here that talk about the Block Heater as I see you've commented in before.

The socket obviously hasn't been mounted correctly so its a trip to the dealer for you.
