2011 Jetta Sportswagen Nav System

While playing with the Nav system, it looks like there's an option that will give you real time traffic (traffic congestion ahead) but when I press the button, nothing happens. Can anyone tell me how to activate this feature?

That button is the detour button. The RNS315 has no traffic capability. The RNS510 has a separate sirius traffic subscription. There should be more detail in the owners manual.
