LOL.....I could see these working great until they get caught on a rough surface and snap off. Plus, they only work at speeds up to 15 mph (probably for safety reasons), I'll just stay home if I have to drive that slow.

I wouldn't get very far with them on Chicago streets LOL. Did you guys see what ECS tuning is offering some type fabric tire covers that act like snow chains but much better no noise or vibrations? Check it out. It is also very easy to install.

Yes these are called snow socks and work ok but not as good as chains. Best to use winter tyres though.

So you clear your long laneway with these bolt on hockey sticks a bunch of times until you can no longer move down the laneway due to the car bottoming out because they don't clear between the tracks- Lamo invention! The inventer must live where snow happens occasionally and winter is not a season.
