Default 2006.5 with B100

Does anyone know if the 2006.5 VW Jetta special edition can run on B100? I read that it is a .5 because they changed some emission standards and I know after 2007, they started a squirt of fuel during the exhaust stage so it cleans the filter, and biodiesel cars don't work well with that.

Thanks

No, that is not true, it's for 2009 and newer Jetta. Your car will be fine. Just make sure the fuel filter is changed and then changed again early because bio can clog it by cleaning out buildup.

The VW Touareg was the only car to get this treatment that early.

Awesome so everything up until the 2008 models can run on B100? Any major mods that need to be made? Other than the standard biodiesel conversions of course
