Shark Blue Metallic paint code.
I've got a chip.
Didn't see it listed in the 2010 Golf section of;

I didn't find a label mounted in a conspicuous place on the car, but on some VW pre-delivery paperwork I saved

code LA5Q is on my paperwork
but there are other codes on Sherwin Williams website.

Great suggestion, that page has been behind and I'll updated it. The color code may be on a sticker by the spare tire.

Page has been updated to 2011 info. I also added some of the codes to the buying guides so that people can see color samples next to their VW Paint codes.

Yes mine is Shadow Blue Clearcoat LD5Q/P6 but its only listed for the Touareg 2004-2006. Its been a Golf colour for 18 months that I know of and its probably been used on other models before the GTD was. Yet it shows Shadow Blue LD5Q/5A for Jetta 2006. Is the first part LD5Q just the clearcoat?

I've just had a look at the service schedule sticker which is the same as the one on the boot floor and it says LD5Q-------- XH. I can't see P6 anywhere. VW list it as just P6 and so does ETKA.
