Default Not sure on this one

I've been talking to guys on another forum who reliably inform me that you got the CR engine from 2009 but in the faq it has the BRM till 2010. From what I'm being told the BRM was last out in 2006 and you got nothing till 2009 which was the CR engine? I'm getting confused now lol, what is the right answer to this quandry?

Where in the FAQ does it say BRM until 2010? We had the BRM 2005.5-2006 and the CRD from 2009.

Well ETKA says the BRM was made from 01/05-04/07 for the Jetta for USA and Canada.

Ok maybe it's just me, it's just when you go into the faq for the jetta from 2005.5 - 2010 the timing belt is just for the BRM so it looks like that's the engine for all of the cars and I wrongly assumed that meant they all had the same BRM engine.
