DSG adaptivity

Some discussions in other forums have stated that the dsg is not an adaptive transmission, and they reference this forum thread:

Do we know for sure that the dsg is adaptive as stated in your FAQ?

Thanks for looking at it so quickly. I was really just wondering what is correct I this instance. I know the owner's manual doesn't reference the dsg being adaptive, but it wouldn't surprise me either way.
