2011 vs 2012 Golf

I noticed on the 10-11-12 Comparison pages for the MK6 Golf TDI that it lists the following as 2012 features… however both are present in my 2011 TDI bought in November 2010.

-Shift indicator in the MFI to indicate when to switch gears on the 6M.
-The hill hold feature *does* work in the 6M and is something I never knew I could use. (see 1000q: hill hold feature to disable or enable on earlier cars)

Just figured I'd chime in.

9/2010 is the build date.
